U.S. Offers $10 Million for Information on Key Iranian Leaders

The announcement coincided with Quds Day protests, drawing thousands of regime supporters to central Tehran. Top officials appeared publicly for the first time since the war began, despite ongoing Israeli and U.S. airstrikes targeting multiple areas of the city

The U.S. State Department announced on Friday a reward of up to $10 million for information on senior Iranian officials, including members of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, top advisers, and cabinet figures. 

Specifically named were Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei, Ali Larijani, secretary of Iran's Supreme National Security Council, and Gholam Hossein Mohseni Eje'i, head of the judiciary. Several other ministers and advisers were also cited.

The Rewards for Justice program referred to these officials as "Iranian terrorist leaders" and posted on X that tips could make informants eligible for both a financial reward and relocation. Authorities said information could be submitted securely via Tor or Signal.
